A phrase used often now is “Culture of Death”. But that’s so abstract – what does that even mean? We see people alive and happy every day! The problem with our culture today isn’t that life is consciously attacked (for the most part); the problem with our culture is indifference. Literally, every day, all of us, you, me, our siblings, cousins, friends, those we hold dear, are fed a horrible lie. That lie says that life is not sacred, that it is something without dignity and value. The lie tells us that we should care only for ourselves. But if we live only for ourselves, we’re not living for Christ. I’m walking this summer to dispel this lie, to spread the truth of Life, to counsel those who have been hurt by our culture, and most importantly, to defend those our culture does not: the future generations of our nation – the unborn.
